Story told in german language.
PLAYING – READING – BALANCING – TOUCHING – LEARNING.
For individual or group play. This balancing game also benefits various therapeutic practices.
Contents: 8 pcs. 250 x 250 mm balancing boards. 8 pcs. 30 mm-diameter wooden balls. 1 Plexiglas plate with connecting elements. 1 baseplate. plus a separate booklet detailing the story behind the balls and instructions for play.
Playing the balancing game : An array of different grooves requires different movements to keep the ball balanced in its track as it travels in circles, around corners, through zig-zags, etc. A first-person tale told from the ball’s perspective is printed as an added guide around the grooves. The various different grooves or slots can also be explored with the fingers. For those players who might have difficulty balancing the ball on any of the boards, we recommend the additional, transparent Plexiglas plate with connecting elements: Simply place the plate atop the balancing board and press firmly into the four holes. Then – when balancing – the board can be held on two sides with both hands. This not only facilitates a simulating of the geometrical form, but also prevents the ball from falling out. Although completely secure when in place, the plate can be easily removed with a gentle pull – as often as necessary.
